Every year in Europe more than one million tons of batteries are available in the market. Their basic components are heavy metals such us led, nickel and cadmium which are found to be toxic not only to the environment but to humans as well through the food chain. Our main goal is to present an alternative proposal with eco- friendly and biodegradable batteries based on potatoes, citrus fruits and saline water which are easy to configure without harming the environment whatsoever.
