UoP Racing is the Formula Student team of the University of Patras. Since 2002 and under the support of the Laboratory for Manufacturing Systems & Automation, we design, develop, and manufacture a racecar that competes at the worldwide Formula Student series. Points are awarded not only for on-track performance, but also for mechanical design, cost and manufacturing, as well as financial sustainability of the project. The team’s objectives are education of young engineers through creation and innovation. The car presented is the 2nd electric car built by the team and one of the very few worldwide.
