Transformative Learning in Art
The method “Transformative Learning through Aesthetic Experience” (Kokkos, 2011) is designed to develop critical thinking both by students as well as by adult learners. This methodology includes a series of specific steps where the works of art are used to develop critical reflection. The combination of working in groups along with the observation of works of art will help us better understand not only ourselves but also the others.
