Cybersecurity constitutes one a significant challenge in the emerging activities of citizens and states, since it relates to applications and services in a wide range of activities, including economy, defence and protection, transport, entertainment, social networking, etc. The continuously increasing cyberattacks demonstrate the need for effective mechanisms and policies for cybersecurity, legal frameworks as well as education and awareness of citizens and organizations. The goal of this activity is the comprehensive presentation of the complex, interdisciplinary field of cybersecurity in terms of all its constituent components, technological, management, education and awareness, which lead to effective defense against cyberthreats.
