Plants against pollution: who wins?
Plants, because of their inability to move from one place to another, always try to adapt to their environment. However, when their environment receives every kind of trash (for example, batteries), the situation becomes hard. The batteries fluids are inappropriate for the development of most plants. But there are some species that they are more resistant to batteries heavy metals. And the impressive fact is that there are species which absorb these heavy metals and can be used as natural hyperaccumulators of polluted soil, because they “clean” the area from these toxic substances!
