The Laboratory for Manufacturing Systems & Automation performs research and development of innovative scientific and technological applications using Virtual and Augmented Reality technologies. Virtual Reality allows humans to visualize, manipulate and interact with highly complex computer generated data in a realistic way. Among other Virtual Reality applications is the development of advanced techniques for human-centered design, such as methods for the evaluation of the aircraft cabin design.
