Michalis Petropoulos graduated from the University of Patras, Department of Physics. He teaches physics almost for three decades. He holds a MSc in Science Teaching and he is preparing his doctoral thesis on conducting physics’ laboratories using web, asynchronous education and the use of new technologies in teaching sciences, in the Hellenic Open University (HOU). He is the author of three books on physics and has a significant number of publications and presentations at conferences. He is a member the Educational Commitee Of Education of the Hellenic Union of Physics Teachers (EEF) and co-author of a series of notes for highschool students, published by EEF. Since 2013 is a research associate of the Laboratory for Particle and Astroparticle Physics at the HOU. In addition to his research interests, this period he is interested in education of physically handicapped, adult education and second-chance schools.
